Horry County Bike & Run Park -- a.k.a. The HULK
This trail is 7 miles long. Locals have nicknamed this park “HULK”. It gets its name because you will feel like you are riding the Universal Studios HULK roller coaster. You are constantly changing elevations, twisting and turning, climbing up 12 steep hills and facing another dozen g-force drops. The scenery is always changing from waterway views, grassy meadows, to thick jungle sections. The terrain is mixed rutty ruts, hard pack & soft sand. The bike trail is entirely single trail. There are ample enough opportunities to pass. Recently a pump track section has been added. Here you will find all ages sharpening their biking skills. It is also a great place to meet up with friends. (Description courtesy of myrtlebeachtrail.com. Visit their website for more Park Info & Events.)
Of course our main attraction is the Atlantic Ocean, so enjoy a ride along the beach ... but be sure to watch out for sunbathers in the summer!! Please Note: Due to County Ordinances, Bicycling on the Beach is not permitted between the hours of 10:00 am and 5:00 pm from May 1 - Labor Day.
Parking varies by season.
